Listening to: When You're Good to Mama, Chicago (Queen LaTifa... or however you spell that.)
So summer's ending soon and I will be forced to live out my days working again. Currently I'm huddled in the office listening to Chicago and various indie rock bands and writing here in a semi-pitifull attempt to do SOMETHING. My cousin is here right now though so I'm bound to be kicked out of here in a few anyway. So it's been a little bit of time since I've posted my latest reveiw or list so I'll give my non-existant readers a double scoop.
10 things to do on the last day of summer.
10. Sleep, though I don't think you should considering it's almost the end and you need to get in as much last-minute fun in as possible.
9. Throw a party. If you need to give a real reason, hold it in honer of my birthday.
8. Do that summer reading that you put off until the last minute because I'm sorry to say but now IS the last minute.
7. SHOP need a reason? Even if you don't go to school you can still use that as an excuse.
6. Get out of the city for a few days or something... traffic's bound to be thin considering everyone is busy comming IN.
5. Grab some friends and have a photo shoot, make some memories to post in your special space i.e. locker, office desk, car, whatever.
4. Have a barbeque or however that's spelled.
3. Go to the pool. Nothing's more refreshing than tanning beside a whole bunch of shreiking kids at your community swimming pool.
2. Finish up that summer fling with something really interesting and acutally have one!!! Okay that sucked but whatever.
And the number one thing to do before summer ends?
1. Go to the BEACH!!!

Name: Prep
Author: Curtis Sittenfeild
This was an okay book. Sittenfeild has a great style and great ideas but the whole story is acutally about a girl who does NOTHING with her life. Any uber literary dude will love the memoir style of this story but other than that, save your money, save a trip to the library just get the quicknotes or whatever they're called or ask a friend who's read it, they'll probably make it way more interesting.
There you have it, a double whammy of a post, I've gotta go now.
